Why should Cialis not be prescribed?

If you are taking any nitrate-based medicines it is forbidden to you to take Cialis. This includes nitroglycerin patches (Nitro-Dur, Transderm-Nitro), nitroglycerin ointment (Nitro-Bid, Nitrol), nitroglycerin pills (Nitro-Bid, Nitrostat), and isosorbide pills (Dilatrate-SR, Isordil, Sorbitrate). Some of the recreational drugs may include amyl nitrate and butyl nitrate and it is prohibited to take it with Cialis, because it could cause some serious interactions and dangerous drop in blood pressure.

Do not use Cialis with particular blood pressure and prostate medicines called alpha-blockers, what includes Cardura (doxazosin), Hytrin (terazosin), Minipress (prazosin), and Uroxatral (alfuzosin). But alpha-blocker Flomas (tamsulosin) could be taken simultaneously with Cialis at a dose of 0.4 milligrams for 24 hours.

If you noticed any of impropriate or allergic reaction, stop taking Cialis and consult that with your doctor.

Keep in mind that Cialis doesn’t give you protection from any of the sexually transmitted diseases, like HIV, the virus which causes AIDS.
